Well, I mean without an explosive material, what's the point if we can do it without light?
I've seen those glass balls with the black and white fans in them that spin when exposed to sunlight, now that's interesting,
only would that be powerful enough to power a car? Somehow I don't think so.

If you send enough photons(at least they are besons) you could.

photon compressor???, if photons have mass, then couldn't they be reflected into a container. only question is how long the photons last without running out of energy...

This is what I was saying by design it like a car.
DON'T DO THIS:

Micro$oft cars seemed like a good idea, but like the movies they made, the prototypes were riddled with problems;

* Every time they repainted the lines on the road, you'd have to buy a new car.
* You could only have one person at a time in your car, unless you bought a car '95 or a car NT, but then you'd have to buy more seats.
* You would be constantly pressured to upgrade your car as they tended not to last long, going painfully slow as they got older
* Ubuntu makes a car that's solar powered, twice as reliable, 5 times as fast, but only pisses once a day on the microsoft car.
* The oil, alternator, gas, engine warning lights were replaced with a single "General Car Fault" warning light.
* People got excited about the "new" features the Microsoft cars, forgetting completely that they had been available in other brands for years.
* It would only accept Microsoft Gas (tm).
* New seats will force everyone to have the same size ass.
* The airbag would ask "Are you sure?" before deploying.
The Microsoft Car is due for release soon.

They'd last al least a few billion years.(were reciving them from stars that are about that distance in light years away, more possibly)

I don't know about that. see, the container would need to be flawless, or else the photons would dissipate. The easiest way to make a flawless container is to make it really small, which should be fine because we're dealing with a massless substance, but we would have to account for the wavelength (not hard, but essential).. Also, we would need a PERFECT set of one way mirrors for valves, to charge and use the energy. as far as I know, all one way mirrors work because there's light on one side and not the other, but in this case, there would be light on both sides, and we would have to control the flow as well. If this is possible, I think it can work. If I overlooked anything, let me know.

Well, will one way mirrors still work if there is more light on one side than the other one? Again at least photons are beson particles so that we could place as many as we want in any spot.

Well that's the idea, to create a mirror that will do that, but it would need to be different from the origional design, otherwise it won't work.

See, normal one-way mirrors reflect half the light, but let the other half through, and do so mostly on the side with more light, that's how they work. what we would need is a setup that lets light through one way, but not the other. Completely different concept. The question is, will it work?

It would work even if it let 1/2 the light in and reflected 1/2 the light out. Or, what I was thinking of would.

Is there a possibility of you posting them?

Patent. You can't patent an idea but you could patent a design.

Why does that matter? Oh wait a moment... is it your patent or someone elses?
