It's a screen, it can only show two dimensions anyway. No, it doesn't have to move. It just makes more sense that way.

well. I understand what they are trying to pass off as a 4th Dimension but if u ask me I wouldn't accept it as a truly 4th

Well, the screen exsists in 11 dimensions because it's made up of matter, and the fourth dimension is time so...

Well, yeah, according to m-theory, there are as many dimensions as scientists put there. It seems to be the main explanation, although there could be others. Dou you know exactly what those dimensions are for? They could easily be explained by other factors, not dimensions. And anyway, m-theory and the rest of the string theories state that all the other dimensions are either wrapped up or fielded out, which means it's inconceivable to represent them anyway.

I know what the first four and the eleventh(supergravity) are. Beyond that, I don't know what they are called/for

im very interested in strings.... saw a nova 4 part special on it, quite entertaining, i want to do more research on it, but 11 demensions is kinda wierd

Not realy. It's just like that the fourth dimension is time. It means that you can travel in it(forward, backward, rightward, and leftward).
