Has anyone ever tried to create an AI based on the three brain theory? It seems to me that it would be the most practical way to go, and create the most sophisticated and human-like intelligence, but I've never heard of it being used.

I'm thinking of using distributive computing as a way to get human-like intelligence.

How? What will that do?

Let's say you have a distibuted computer of 100,000,000. All each computer would have to do is run a NN of 1,000 neurons(this is pretty reasonable # of neuorons for a computer) and you'ld have human scale intellegence.

So you're telling me that if I hook up 100,000,000 computers together, it will spawn intelligence? Somehow, I'd think there needs to be a program involved, because a bunch of computers alone won't do anything worthwhile.

but that's what I was talking about. Sure, hook a billion computers together, the more the better, but the subject is still the algorithm.

You could have a central set of computers to set the algorithm's....

who would make the NN's? you or the computer, if computer, how would you get it to do that?

It'd be in a program that you download and install on the internet that can be conected together in a similer way to how BONIC and SETI does it.
