The thind is that the computers that pweople are using today are just not as powerfull as they have to be to get the full advantage of windows vista. if they would improve on their systems then they would be quiet. Xp also had its issues at the start, but they improved it over time to be the "Best Windows Operating System ever". Give it some time, "Good thing come to those who wait".

Why wait for Windows to get to the level of Linux or Mac?
Those two are way beyond what Microsoft can cook up, and by the time they decide to get to that point, it will be too late anyway. For example, name one 'new' feature in Vista that wasn't available in Linux and Mac for years, and call me a liar.

Xp wasn't the 'Best windows OS ever'. IMO DOS was better, and they're the same kernel.
